Hanoi Tour Holiday Comments From: "Leigh Warneminde" bmeac@in.com.au Add sender to Contacts To: hanoitours@vnn.vn Dear Thao, We are now back at home in Australia regrouping after a wonderful holiday. We would like to thank you and your team at Hanoi Tours for making our trip such a memorable and informative one. We found everyone very helpful, friendly and professional. My family have had a very special time in your country and region. I will go through the itinary you gave us in order and comment – It is only meant to be constructive and is only from our perspective. Day 1-4 -All the Tours out of Hanoi were good we loved the bike trip . Our hotel in Hanoi was good but it would have been better in the older section of Hanoi. We organised that in Australia before we arrived. Day 4 – Lao Cai – The night train was good, the hotel at Sapa was OK the food wasn’t great and perhaps it would be better not to have prepaid for the food but ordered our own. We had a great guide (Vinh). We loved Sapa and could have spent more time there. Day 9- Halong Bay – We loved the Junk Imperial it was a nice size, good food, enjoyed the bicycle trek. Cat Ba was disappointing as we would have liked to go to the National Park on the Island. Accommodation was good- very nice hotel and good food. Day 11 – Hue. We loved Hue. The Asia hotel was the best hotel we stayed in Vietnam. City tour was good, food was great. A very nice place. Day 13 – Road trip to Hoi An was good but the train could have been good too. We realised we should have gone to DMZ (after visiting the Chu Chi Tunnels in HCM) Hotel Phu Thinh 2 was good, food good but would have preferred to stay in the old quarter. It was a good hotel though. The beach was nice but the weather was wet and a bit cold so we only went there for a short time. We also live at the beach in Australia so it wasn’t such a focus for us. We loved Hoi An and were happy to stay there as long as we did. Day 18 – HCM – City tour was good, Hotel was a good position and fine although crossing the road was a challenge. Good Guide (Dong). Cat Tien was a bit disappointing because we would have liked a bit more information about the park itself and would have liked to explored it a bit more. Input from Park staff ( rangers ?) would have been good. We also would have gone to Dalat which was fairly close.
Day 22 – Can Tho- was good, the tour was good, great accommodation. Day 24 – Chau Doc- Phnom Penh fantastic. All went well.
Day 25 – Pnom Penh- The Castle hotel was in a great position and very comfortable. I will give your card to a travel agent here - Lyn from Break Away Travel in Coolum. Hopefully she will send some business your way
We hope you have a good break over Tet and spend time with your family. Yours sincerely, Leigh Warneminde 19 Yerranya Row Yaroomba. QLD.4573.

appreciation PM From: "Email" Add sender to Contacts To: "Hanoi Tours" Dear Mr Thao, Thank you for the wonderful tour you had arranged for us. All of us enjoyed the trip despite some hiccups in the programe. The guides for Halong Bay and Hue did a good job. The guide for Ho Chi Minh is still lacking of experience and poor in time management. Of course everyone knew the standard of your first lady guide, Ms Hong in Hanoi. We in fact wasted almost that day's programe. Luckily as I have mentioned earlier, your 2nd guide, Mr Wong saved your day. Otherwise we will be .............. All the meals were good except the last buffet lunch at Ho Chi Min. We finished our breakfast at 7.30 am but lunch was arranged at 10.40 am. We didn't really enjoy that meal. Nevertheless, we appreciate the hardwork you have put in to make our trip a memorable one. Thank you. Bye.
